Upload Audio to You Tube Movie Maker

2. Since when are you facing the issue?
3. Were you lot able to publish videos without any issues before?

I have Motion-picture show Maker version 2012, which came every bit part of Windows Essentials that I downloaded only yesterday.

My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.

As I've only had Windows Essentials & hence Movie Maker since yesterday, this is all new to me.

This is too the first video I've attempted to make too.

Having tried many & various things, I've discovered that it'due south a Microsoft signing in problem.

I have successfully published the video via Vimeo & discovered upon changing my Microsoft business relationship details, that for some strange reasoning, Windows Essentials is grouped into apps & therefore needs a dissever app password. However, when I've attempted to follow Microsoft'due south guide instructions to arrange this separate password, they don't make sense, in so much as when I sign in to my Microsoft account, I cannot then select 'Password and security info' as it isn't there! Despite much trial and error, I detect information technology impossible to adjust this separate app password for Windows Essentials and am therefore thwarted from being able to publish to You Tube it seems.

I have used MovieMaker for years and take MANY videos uploaded. Today I tried to upload a new one. (Actually, it's a revised old one, merely YouTube doesn't let me modify a video once information technology's uploaded... However some other result.) I tin can't log into YouTube from MovieMaker. I accept changed my Microsoft, Google and YouTube passwords with no success. What the heck is going on?

Sorry to hear of your bug Lorna but thanks for responding to my post every bit I'd given upward on publishing a You Tube video. However, thanks to your response, I now realise that I've upgraded to W ten OS since my original post here, then there's a very pocket-size chance that might make a difference eh?

I don't hold out much hope though as it's taken me 15mins simply to be able to sign in hither to answer to your response!

I'll requite Microsoft their fair credit though, their security measures are probably the toughest I've always come beyond!

I'm not going to retry making a movie & publishing it on You lot Tube only even so though, I need to be in a really strong place & take all my wits fully sharpened before I effort that feat! :)

Hope your situation resolves itself, as it seems there'south not much assist for us coming via this post.

I finally just uploaded the file straight to YouTube past using the "Upload" button. Much faster, but I had to leave MovieMaker to do it.
